and Derby are within 20 miles, whilst East Midlands airport is only
10 miles away. Birmingham airport and the NEC are within the hour.
The Great Central Railway is on the doorstep and the River Soar
runs through the village.

Local village pubs and restaurants are just a few
minutes away and there are country walks to surrounding villages
to enjoy.

I stayed at The Mountsorrel six or seven
times this year and have always had a positive experience.
The rooms, are clean and well appointed with good beds and
linen.
The owners work really hard to please their guests and keep
the gardens beautifully.
